Scope Technologies proudly announces the release of the Nexus, a transitional healthcare recliner specifically designed to treat the seating needs of post-operative hip and knee patients. The recliner is undergoing a clinical trial, and has been named a “lower extremity post-op recovery chair.” The innovative design of the Nexus recliner allows patients to sit at an elevated height, which keeps the hip immobile and helps the patient get up with less bending.

The Nexus is an extremely resilient piece of healthcare furniture. It is manufactured with an all hardened, e-coated steel frame and base platform for exceptional durability. It also features 4 heavy-duty locking casters, which swivel in the rear for maximum maneuverability.

The Nexus offers many of the same optional features as other Scope transitional healthcare recliners such as swing-out arms, heat and massage, and a fold-down table for either the right or left side.

In addition to its functionality, the Nexus offers a number of aesthetically-pleasing configurations. Customers can choose from a number of options of vinyl upholstery. The upholstery has a slipcover design that facilitates easy replacement. The upholstery also wipes clean and includes replaceable components for long-term care. Other features include non-PVC coverings and printed and woven Crypton fabrics.
